LOCATION: Hybrid - onsite 1-2x / week in Reston, VA. Onsite interview.

Overview
ALTA IT is seeking a ServiceNow Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions. This role partners closely with business and IT teams to define requirements, manage the product backlog, and ensure the platform delivers meaningful value to the organization. Experienced Product Owner who is vision focused to help transform our Customer's business to ServiceNow implementation. Ideal candidate will have ServiceNow CSM, ITSM and / or CRM modules.
Responsibilities

Own and manage the ServiceNow product backlog, defining epics, features, and user stories.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and prioritize enhancements.

Define acceptance criteria and approve or reject development work.

Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with platform best practices.

Support Agile ceremonies and improve backlog grooming processes.

Communicate product updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business needs.

Promote Agile principles and mentor team members as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Product Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

4+ years as a Product Owner or 6+ years in IT/business analysis or related fields.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities.

Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and working in Agile teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred: ServiceNow certifications, experience in enterprise or regulated environments, or experience with SAFe.
