Sr. Integrator - Windows Server Washington DC 20590 - 100% Onsite Target Start Date 3/2/2026 Per Federal Contract U.S. Citizenship Required Must be able to pass Federal Background investigation for Public Trust Clearance $64.50/hr - $75.00/hr W2 ONLY Open/Additional Info Job Summary : The Senior Integrator will provide systems integration and systems administration support for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and various high-level projects across the Department of Transportation (DOT) Common Operating Environment (COE). The Windows Server Team is responsible for Windows servers, Active Directory, remote desktop services, OS vulnerability remediation, Windows Server and workstation patching, hypervisor (VMware, HyperV) management, provisioning servers (on-prem, AWS GovCloud, AWS, Azure, Oracle, and Google), design and deploying HA/DR capabilities, and supporting DOT's field site reduction plans / migration to Cloud. This team also supports and manages Keyfactor/CA, MS Entra, KiteWorks, BeyondTrust, Quest Password Manager, Delinea Privilege Manager, Varonis, and multiple technologies.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical expertise from responding to OCIO Initiatives and requirements to preventing service degradations and outages, supporting service restoration during outages. This position will provide support, implementation, and design services for Windows-based systems across the enterprise. The Senior Integrator will be responsible for resolving and completing assigned tasks and change requests and will act as an escalation for support issues. Job Description and Duties - Full-time Onsite at DOT HQ, Washington DC. Ideal candidate will cover later shift providing support ending sometime between 5pm and 7pm daily.
- Once every 2-3 months support server infrastructure in a 24x7 on-call escalation capacity as part of a team rotation.
- Identify opportunities to innovate, extend, and enhance service delivery everywhere possible including through automation and scripting.
- Oversee daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
- Serve as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems.
- Perform provisioning, patching, and day-to-day management of the installed server environment including vulnerability remediation.
- Provide technical expertise and hands-on support preventing service degradations and restoring service during outages.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for the Windows systems and tools.
- Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
- Provide support for new enterprise systems and in support of engineering solutions to address existing issues.
- Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Required Education and Experience: - Experience managing environments of 2000+ servers across multiple field site locations.
- Experience leading troubleshooting calls spanning across multiple teams and using multi-discipline approach.
- Must have extensive knowledge of multi-vendor server operating systems.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of enterprise Windows environment operations and engineering.

- Microsoft Certification(s) including: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, MS365 Certified Administrator Expert.
- AWS/ Azure Cloud Certifications a plus
- VMware Certifications a plus
- Google Certification(s)/ experience with Google Workspace deployment and implementation
- ServiceNow ITSM platform experience
- DISA STIG and CIS Benchmark guidelines for Microsoft Windows servers.
- Intune access experience with Co-Management across MS Intune and SCCM/MECM
- Knowledge of PKI technologies including DigiCert, Sectigo, KeyFactor, and certificate issuance and management solutions.
- Any additional professional IT or Project Management certifications.
