Position Overview
KayDev Technology is seeking an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst for a 24-month opportunity with the New York State Department of Health in Albany, NY. The position requires extensive experience with public-health information systems, Medicaid or CHIP, Oracle database products, CMS standards, healthcare EDI transactions, enterprise applications, and large-scale healthcare data warehouses.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have:
At least 84 months of experience with public-health information systems, such as Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
At least 84 months of experience using Oracle products, including SQL Developer and SQL Plus, and executing SQL scripts using DBeaver to query Vertica and Oracle databases.
At least 84 months of experience working with stakeholders and vendors throughout the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation.
At least 84 months of experience with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services standards and codes, including EDI 837, EDI 834, ICD codes, HIPAA, and CMS Medicaid reports such as T-MSIS and CMS-64.
At least 64 months of experience analyzing, designing, and testing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, XML, SOAP, DB2 or Oracle, and web services.
At least 36 months of experience in a high-volume data warehouse environment processing billions of healthcare records, including an understanding of source, staging, and publishing ETL databases and related row- and column-level security.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
