Pay Range: $55/hr - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish standard costs and collect operational data to determine cost of operations.
- Analyze actual results against plans and forecasts to identify financial status.
- Guide the cost analysis process by enforcing policies and providing trends and forecasts.
- Monitor variances and recommend actions to management based on your analyses.
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Maintain databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
- Develop automated accounting applications to increase productivity.
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Cost Analyst or Financial Analyst.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Understanding of basic accounting and finance functions.
- Experience in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Financial reporting, data reconciliation, and trend analysis expertise.
- Operational data collection and analysis capabilities.
- Experience with Power BI, Oracle/SAP, AI tools, or IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
