We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support specialty banking applications within the capital markets and international trade finance space. This role will focus on supporting and enhancing trade finance platforms, including the Trade360 application, while partnering with product owners, Scrum Masters, developers, business stakeholders, and external software vendors.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with trade finance systems, international banking workflows, foreign exchange platforms, and financial messaging integrations such as SWIFT. This individual will play a key role in a system migration initiative, translating business requirements into actionable user stories, supporting backlog management, coordinating technical implementation, and ensuring solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
The candidate will support multiple Scrum teams operating in two-week sprint cycles and work closely with business and technology partners to deliver system enhancements, resolve complex issues, and improve operational processes.
Key Rsponsibilities:
- Maintains, monitors, updates assigned application systems.
- Researches complex problems and takes appropriate action to correct.
- Analyzes existing systems or procedures and identifies technical or procedural improvements.
- Develops and provides documentation for users and training purposes.
- Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems.
- Design processes to meet regulatory requirements.
- Develops, generates, special or ad hoc reports.
- Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users.
- Acts as liaison between software vendors and business unit or between users and other corporate areas.
- May serve as lead analyst in training or projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
