BSA / AML ANALYST - 100% REMOTE

Job Title: BSA / AML ANALYST
Type: Contract, long term expected
Compensation: W-2 negotiable
Work Model: Remote 

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial activity, transactional data, and other relevant information to identify potential suspicious activity, financial crime risks, and emerging trends.
• Support regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation.
• Utilize expertise in financial crime analysis and investigative techniques, including identifying unusual or potentially suspicious activity.
• Use data analysis and research tools, including Excel and other systems used to analyze transactional activity and identify patterns or trends.
• Understand BSA/AML regulatory requirements, financial crime risks, and applicable compliance standards.
• Document investigative findings clearly and articulate risk effectively.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate findings and insights.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of BSA/AML experience or more.
• Experience with Verafin preferred.
• CAMS certification a plus or preferred.
• Experience working in a financial institution preferred.
