JOB OVERVIEW:
The Senior Operations Supervisors will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the workflow of the Transit Adjudication Bureau (TAB) public-facing units that handle in person and telephone functions. S/he should have excellent customer service and problem solving skills to support the operations of these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient operation of designated areas and manage the daily workflow
- Provide timely updates to the Operations Manager identifying unanticipated challenges and strategies for addressing those challenges
- Plan, organize, direct, and manage the daily activities of the TAB units
- Monitor workflow and prepare various statistical reports for analysis
- Evaluate unit operational procedures and business functions and make recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 3 years of Supervisory and/or Operations Experience; w/ ability to deliver excellent and efficient customer service
- Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience with a corporate or government agency
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and an acute attention to detail
- Excellent judgment and outstanding analytical, problem solving and creative thinking
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simultaneously balance multiple tasks
