Description
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support and strengthen a growing ServiceNow environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on platform administration, resolving user issues, and refining system functionality to better serve internal teams. The person in this role will collaborate with business and technical partners to maintain reliable day-to-day operations while helping expand the value of the ServiceNow platform over time.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily administration of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stable performance and dependable support for users across the organization.
Investigate incidents, service requests, and system issues, then deliver timely resolutions that minimize disruption and improve user satisfaction.
Configure and maintain platform components such as forms, workflows, catalogs, notifications, and routine automations to support business needs.
Work with stakeholders across IT and business teams to identify process enhancements and translate operational needs into practical platform updates.
Strengthen existing ServiceNow capabilities by recommending and applying improvements that streamline usage and elevate the overall user experience.
Develop and refine features including service level tracking, alerts, escalations, and reporting to improve visibility and operational effectiveness.
Provide administrative support for ITSM-related functions and asset management processes within the ServiceNow environment.
Participate in platform upgrades, testing activities, and release preparation to help ensure smooth deployments and continued system reliability.
Create and maintain clear system documentation, configuration records, and administrative procedures to support consistent platform management.
Contribute to the ongoing growth of ServiceNow adoption by helping teams make better use of available platform features and functionality.
Requirements
Hands-on experience administering, supporting, or configuring the ServiceNow platform in a detail-oriented work environment.
Working knowledge of IT service management practices and ticketing workflows, preferably within ServiceNow ITSM.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot application behavior, workflow issues, and configuration-related problems.
Familiarity with areas such as incident management, service requests, knowledge management, or asset management.
Ability to gather business needs and convert them into effective system configurations or process improvements.
Strong communication, customer support, and problem-solving skills when working with both technical and non-technical users.
Comfortable balancing independent ownership of tasks with collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Experience with ServiceNow modules, platform features, or related certifications is considered a plus.
