ServiceNow IRM Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Hopkins, MN that is seeking a ServiceNow IRM Developer.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support a large-scale Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) transformation initiative
* Focuses on migrating existing GRC solutions from Archer to ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) while modernizing risk management capabilities
* May also participate in the design and development of custom applications when business requirements cannot be met through out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities
* Own the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through testing, deployment, and production support
* Participate in discovery sessions, design workshops, and sprint ceremonies to understand business requirements and define technical solutions
* Develop and configure ServiceNow IRM solutions to support enterprise GRC transformation initiatives
* Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, and Development Leads to translate requirements into scalable solutions
* Recommend and implement out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities whenever possible, minimizing customizations and promoting platform best practices
* Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, governance, and platform guidelines
* Support user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot defects, and resolve issues within agreed delivery timelines
* Document solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation details to meet audit and compliance requirements
* Take ownership of features and user stories through the entire software development lifecycle, including production deployments
* Contribute to the development of custom applications using modern technologies and AI-assisted development tools when business requirements extend beyond native ServiceNow IRM functionality

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of overall ServiceNow development experience
* 5+ years of JavaScript development experience
* 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) experience
* Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices, platform architecture, and configuration capabilities
* Experience working in Agile environments with participation in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
* Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, and independently drive deliverables to completion
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet audit and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of Spring Boot development experience
* 2+ years of React development experience
* Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
* Experience building cloud-native applications in AWS and/or Azure
* Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
