Description
We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support employees with day-to-day technology needs and ensure reliable delivery of end-user hardware services in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, organized asset coordination, and responsive user support across a distributed workforce. The role will contribute to device readiness, inventory accuracy, and process improvement while helping strengthen internal IT operations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, configure, image, and deploy laptops and related equipment for new and existing employees.
Coordinate packaging and shipment of IT hardware to team members in domestic and international locations.
Oversee asset records throughout the device lifecycle, including inventory updates, usage tracking, and reporting accuracy.
Provide timely support for end users by resolving common hardware and software issues and escalating when appropriate.
Execute hardware rollout activities for a geographically dispersed employee population.
Assist with operational IT tasks tied to the shift from externally supported services to an internally managed support model.
Work with leadership to refine support workflows, improve documentation standards, and strengthen IT infrastructure practices.
Maintain clear records of equipment assignments, deployments, service activity, and support outcomes.
Requirements
Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
Hands-on experience providing support for macOS systems.
Strong knowledge of device provisioning, hardware setup, and IT asset management practices.
Ability to troubleshoot both endpoint hardware and software issues effectively.
Experience managing equipment and inventory for remote or distributed teams.
Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Familiarity with both Windows and Mac environments is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused, collaborative approach to support.
