Location: Chicago, Illinois (Onsite)
Role Overview
This position involves providing hands-on technical support and service to employees. The role requires diagnosing and resolving product issues promptly, offering solutions to ensure users are operational. The work will be assigned to either TechHub or Field Service Delivery (FSD) projects, demanding flexibility in work hours and travel. Success in this role is defined by delivering technical service with a high level of customer focus, speed, and skill.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform automated imaging, installation, and removal of PC equipment.
- Manage inventory and movement of PC equipment.
- Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to employees for technical service needs.
- Diagnose product issues on the spot and determine if repairs or replacements are necessary.
- Offer solutions to resolve technical issues and restore user functionality.
- Adhere to a schedule of customer appointments and manage time effectively.
- Maintain established processes that support adherence to TSA, customer, and local airport regulations.
- Operate company vehicles safely and work in airport terminals and around aircraft.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in PC migration or deployment is required. The skill level is considered Junior Level, suitable for candidates with less than five years of experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with WIN10 and WIN11, Mobile iOS/Android platforms, and automated imaging tools such as SCCM and Workspace One. Experience with data migration, Outlook configuration, and IP configuration is necessary.
General Qualifications
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organization skills.
- Demonstrated customer service and interaction abilities.
- Physical ability to move heavy equipment to and from deployment sites.
- Ability to pass a background check required for a SIDA Badge.
- Capability to work all shifts and days as assigned, including nights and weekends.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Success in team environments, demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability.
