Responsibilities- Perform end-of-month IT financial processes including coding intercompany expenses, posting monthly expenditures, preparing financial accrual listing, and reconciling to the IT general ledger accounts
- Prepare Purchase Orders and Asset Requests to get proper approval for IT software and hardware expenses while maintaining compliance with company financial policies and audit requirements
- Track and monitor IT Department expenses and maintain accurate record of allocation to subsidiaries
- Process vendor invoices by verifying charges are against contracts and approved expenditures
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Gather information from vendors to assist with vendor setup in the accounting system
- Assist with IT budget preparations including data entry into spreadsheets or ERP system from Forecast meetings with leaders and making monthly changes to Forecasts based on actuals
- Assist with tracking and procuring IT hardware and software while complying with company financial, legal, security and procurement requirements
- Assist with ensuring compliance with software license agreements
- Provide financial support and expertise to Information Systems (IS) and IT staff as needed
- Assist with review and execution of master service agreements, software license agreements and statements of work
- Assist with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures related to requesting services from CE&I Information Services (IS) team and how the IS staff processes those service requests
- Assist with conducting regular assessments of IT operations and make recommendations for improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
QualificationsWork Experience and Education- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science/Information Technology with a minor in accounting, or related field
- Two+ years of experience in IT Business Management including IT expense tracking, invoicing processing, procurement process, and budget management
- Experience using ERP or accounting management systems
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including accruals, reconciliations, accounts payable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Familiarity with month-end IT processing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot table and financial analysis
- Ability to handle confidential financial and business information with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal customers and external vendors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and analytically to resolve complex issues
