Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developer to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Design, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules, primarily focusing on CMDB, ITSM, and ITOM capabilities to meet business and operational requirements.
Configure and manage CMDB integrations and configuration item data sources, including Service Graph Connectors and integrations with enterprise technology platforms, to improve data quality, completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Support Technology Asset Management processes that depend on CMDB data, ensuring configuration items and asset information are properly maintained, reconciled, and available for operational use.
Develop and maintain integrations using scripted REST APIs and other integration capabilities. Troubleshoot application and integration issues, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
6–9 years of experience in ServiceNow development and ITSM, including strong hands-on experience with CMDB configuration, administration, integrations, and ITOM capabilities.
Experience configuring CMDB integrations with enterprise technology platforms and maintaining configuration item data quality. Experience supporting Technology Asset Management processes is required.

Experience managing enterprise configuration data across infrastructure, endpoint, server, network, and software environments, ensuring accurate relationships and reliable configuration records.
Experience supporting Technology Asset Management processes, including asset inventory, configuration item reconciliation, lifecycle tracking, and operational reporting using centralized configuration data.
Experience integrating and maintaining configuration information across multiple enterprise technology platforms to support IT operations, service delivery, change management, incident resolution, and asset governance.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Service Graph Connectors and integrations with platforms such as Tanium, JAMF, and SolarWinds.
Strong understanding of CMDB data models, configuration item classes, relationships, identification and reconciliation processes, data quality controls, and integration troubleshooting.
Experience developing ServiceNow customizations, maintaining technical documentation, and collaborating with IT operations, infrastructure, asset management, and service management teams.
