Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Selenium and Cypress to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress.
Create and execute UI, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test utilities.
Analyze business and technical requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Execute automated and manual testing as required.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve defects.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Analyze test results and provide detailed testing reports and metrics.
Continuously improve test automation coverage, framework performance, and testing processes.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Strong experience with Cypress for web application automation.
Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and automation framework design.
Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
Experience integrating automation frameworks with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Cypress is a plus.
Experience with BlazeMeter, JMeter, or other performance testing tools is a plus.
