Job Title: QA Playwright automation
Location: Remote, (Must be within driving distance of Miramar, FL, Dallas, TX, Minneapolis, Seattle or Atlanta.
Duration: Contract to perm
Rate: 55-58/hr

QA Engineer III

Playwright is a MUST.
Role will be approximately 80% automation / 20% functional testing, potentially even more automation.
They currently use Tosca, but are actively moving from Tosca → Playwright.
Tosca is a nice-to-have, not required. He will absolutely take strong Playwright over Tosca.
Wants someone comfortable building/working within an automation framework, not just executing existing scripts.
Experience using AI tools within QA/automation is important.

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced QA Engineer to support testing of e-commerce cart and checkout functionality. The team is moving its automation framework from Tosca to Playwright, and this role will play a key part in that transition by building and maintaining reliable automated test coverage for customer-facing purchase flows.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright
Support the migration of existing Tosca test assets to Playwright
Test cart, checkout, payment, and related e-commerce workflows end to end
Create and manage test cases, defects, and results in JIRA and/or Zephyr
Work with developers, product owners, and the QA team to define test strategy and coverage
Find, document, and track defects through resolution

Required Qualifications

6–8 years of QA/test engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (required)
E-commerce testing experience, especially cart and checkout flows (required)
Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or Zephyr
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and Agile delivery

Nice to Have

Prior Tosca experience, or experience migrating between automation frameworks
Exposure to BI, SCM, or UiPath environments
