Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Information Technology Project Managers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Own, refine, and prioritize product backlogs by translating product strategy and business objectives into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable delivery outcomes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, operations, and risk and compliance partners to clarify requirements, evaluate opportunities, develop business cases, manage dependencies, and resolve scope and delivery decisions.
Support Agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog refinement, Program Increment planning, scope management, release readiness, and coordination of testing and acceptance activities.
Monitor product performance and delivery progress using success metrics, stakeholder feedback, and status reporting. Communicate risks, impediments, dependencies, and decisions while continuously improving backlog quality and delivery effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Expert-level role requiring 10+ years of experience in product ownership, product delivery, project management, or related disciplines. The source description also specifies 2+ years of direct Product Owner or closely related experience delivering digital products.
Technical Skills:
Product Ownership, Product Backlog Management, Agile/Scrum, SAFe, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Jira, Confluence, API Integrations, Product Performance Metrics
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting corporate finance and digital finance products, including business capabilities, operational workflows, financial reporting, and business process improvement.
Experience supporting financial advisor enablement, advisor partnership programs, incentive management, and related business processes within wealth management or financial services environments.
Experience analyzing program policies, business rules, operational processes, and stakeholder needs and translating them into business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and system requirements.
Experience coordinating product delivery in regulated financial environments involving risk management, compliance controls, audit requirements, stakeholder approvals, and cross-functional business and technology teams.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Agile delivery environments, preferably using SAFe, with responsibility for backlog prioritization, sprint execution, and Program Increment planning.
Knowledge of digital finance platforms, enterprise application integrations, APIs, and non-functional requirements, with familiarity with technologies such as Java and Spring Boot.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to make prioritization decisions and balance business value, technical feasibility, and delivery risks.
