About your Team:

The Change Management Lead Analyst/Specialist is currently responsible for reviewing, supervising, discussing, and coordinating change requests and initiatives across all IT departments. This role ensures that all changes are implemented effectively within approved non-conflicting windows, and have proper verification tasks in place, with established stakeholder communications. IT Change Management utilizes Service Now, Jira, Confluence, Nautobot, and IB Trading Platform knowledge for daily approvals and reviews. There are continuous efforts to enhance/onboard non-IT departments into centralized Change Management, while ensuring scalability and ITIL/DORA compliance. Additionally, this role will also be requested to manages allocation of available IT hardware resources, initiateing new IT projects based on trends/observations, build out curates and maintains overall IT Service Catalog of the IB Trading Platform, and assists Solution Architecture and Production Engineering departments for with ad-hoc/critical efforts project tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Request Review & Supervision
  • Review and assess change requests queues, for change suitability, completeness and validity
  • Supervise change initiatives from initiation through implementation and closure
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives

Change Implementation & Verification
  • Certify that change requests are implemented within approved maintenance windows, including proper verification procedures
  • Validating that changes meet defined success criteria with documented rollback plans
  • Revisit and troubleshoot failed changes or conflicting maintenance for understanding, optimization and product improvement

Impact Assessment & Communication
  • Evaluate and document the potential impact of change requests on systems, processes, and users, building toward long term IT Service Catalog
  • Communicate impact analysis sessions with technical and business teams
  • Escalate trends/observations to IT Project Management for proposed remediation or enhancement

Process Support & Compliance
  • Manage overall allocation and assignment of available IT hardware resources
  • Assist in the overall change management process and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure requirement understanding across all stakeholders
  • Build and maintain compliance with change management policies, procedures, and industry standards across third-party, hardware and software groups
  • Support the development and refinement of change management documentation and workflows to include all system change requests
  • Support Solution Architecture and Production Engineering departments by owning ad-hoc efforts through supporting efforts

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree: Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in change management, IT operations, IT service management, or related IT fields.
  • Experience with Service Now, Jira, Nautobot, ITIL framework and change management best practices

Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Foundation or higher certification
  • Experience with change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Nautobot)
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
  • Project management experience
