Our direct, F100 client is looking to hire several REMOTE IT Project Managers (titled internally as IT Associate Project Manager Lead) for a 12-month, extendable contract position. They're looking for an IT Project Manager with broad experience leading application development, infrastructure and implementation projects following a range of methodologies (from hybrid Waterfall to formal Agile/Scrum). Candidates can work remotely within the US, but must be able to follow an EST schedule.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Directs and manages IT project development and delivery from beginning to end.
- Facilitates project scope definition in collaboration with project sponsors.
- Develops IT project plans and associated communications documents and collaborates with an array of stakeholders, teams, and vendors to ensure the needed resources are available for project success.
- Develops and implements strategies to deliver projects according to business objectives and find improvements in the project lifecycle to deliver value sooner.
- Guides project through portions of the governance process.
- Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Coaches, mentors, and motivates project team members, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Works closely with the direct managers of project team members to maintain effective communication channels and ensure the appropriate development of individuals involved in the project.
- Builds, develops, and grows relationships vital to the success of the project.

- Project planning & execution Build realistic plans, manage scope/timeline/resources, and drive delivery against commitments
- Risk & problem management Proactively identify risks, mitigate issues, and adapt quickly as things change
- Basic technical / domain knowledge Understanding of application development and associated processes
Plusses:
- Waterfall / Agile / hybrid delivery experience Familiarity with Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models to adapt to evolving requirements
- Tool proficiency (PM & collaboration tools) Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar for planning, tracking, and reporting
