Job Title: Mainframe Technical Lead

Location: Sunrise, FL (Onsite from Day One)

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, document, and deliver solutioning for mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
Perform requirement analysis, design reviews, and code enhancements.
Conduct impact assessments and translate technical findings into business rules and process flow diagrams.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Participate in mainframe migration exercises.
Provide technical documentation and audit support.
Mentor team members and drive process improvements using modern tools and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

Core: COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS DB, SQL
Tools: Endevor, Topaz, Control-M or equivalent job scheduler
Utilities: SORT, IDCAMS, ISPF
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and impact analysis skills
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills

REXX automation
Familiarity with mainframe migration and modernization initiatives
Exposure to API integration and microservices concepts
Experience integrating with IBM MQ or IBM DataPower

Location & Work Model

Onsite from Day One — Sunrise, FL. Candidates must be available to work on-site starting their first day.
