NOMAD Mainframe SME / Admin

Key Responsibilities

Must be NOMAD SME

• Serve as the primary SME for the NOMAD Fourth Generation Language (4GL) environment.
• Administer, configure, maintain, and upgrade the NOMAD platform.
• Support developers utilizing NOMAD for application development and data access.
• Collaborate with mainframe systems teams on platform stability, performance, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve NOMAD-related application and infrastructure issues.
• Evaluate platform architecture and provide recommendations for modernization or migration strategies.
• Assist with potential migration efforts from NOMAD to alternative technologies.
• Document processes, standards, and operational procedures.

• Experience serving as a technical lead or SME within large enterprise mainframe environments.
• Experience leading or supporting legacy application modernization initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across development and infrastructure teams.
• Experience planning and executing migrations from legacy mainframe tools and applications.
