I.K. Hofmann USA has a need for a Production Supervisor in Marietta, GA

Job Responsibilities:

Direct daily manufacturing activities, machine operations, and welding workflows to meet strict delivery deadlines. .

Ensure fabricated products match precise technical specifications while enforcing plant safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Coordinate shift workers, assign daily tasks, and provide hands-on training for assembly and fabrication staff.

Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineers to optimize production techniques and workflow efficiency.

Perform high-quality manual TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel and specialized metal components used in modular chimney and exhaust assemblies.
Read and analyze shop drawings, technical schematics, and work orders to plan the layout and assembly of custom ventilation parts.
Operate fabrication machinery (such as metal presses, shears, rollers, and cutting tables) and use hand grinders to prepare and clean joints before welding.
Inspect finished welds and assemblies for structural precision, airtightness, and surface finish conformance.

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to move up to 30lbs.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for some parts of the day

Must be able to position oneself to access equipment, as needed

Work Environment:

Must be able to wear protective gear such as work boots

Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures. Workspaces may not be temperature-controlled.

May have to get into awkward positions to reach cramped workspaces.

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 6:00am - 4:45pm

Payrate:

$30/hr. plus bonus incentives for attendance
