Job Summary
We are seeking a Kit Production Coordinator to support global kit production, distribution, and order fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for ensuring laboratory supplies and study kits are assembled, processed, quality-checked, labeled, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, accurate data-entry skills, solid computer proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a 100% onsite, hands-on position with physical activities involved in kit production and warehouse/shipping support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and pack laboratory kits according to established study kit specifications.
- Perform quality control checks on assembled kits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process kit orders and support order fulfillment and shipping activities.
- Perform labeling and other activities associated with kit production.
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies and materials.
- Provide production, supply, and shipping support to internal departments and external kit vendors.
- Support the resolution of Kit Vendor Quality Events, including:
- Incorrect documentation
- Failure to release orders
- Inaccurate information
- Guideline discrepancies or updates
- Incorrect items being shipped
- Kit-building errors
- Overdue orders
- Maintain accurate information and documentation throughout the kit production process.
- Support information sharing within the GSS department.
- Occasionally participate in weekly operational meetings with kitting vendors.
- Provide support for flex tasks within GSS and Sample Management as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of client protocols, study information, and related data.
- Follow applicable quality, safety, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school/secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant academic or vocational qualification preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn internal systems.
- Accurate data-entry skills.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
This is an onsite, hands-on production role that requires:
- Frequent standing and movement throughout the workday.
- Bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and carry materials as required.
- Ability to work in areas with fluctuating temperatures.
- Potential exposure to infectious or hazardous substances while following established safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work an early-start/late-end schedule and participate in regular schedule rotations when required.
Schedule
Candidates must be comfortable working a Tuesday–Saturday schedule and reporting onsite for the full shift.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, organized, and comfortable performing repetitive production and fulfillment tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Experience in laboratory, pharmaceutical, clinical research, manufacturing, warehouse, kitting, fulfillment, or shipping environments would be beneficial.
