Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career technology professional looking to build hands-on experience supporting end users, troubleshooting technical issues, and developing foundational IT skills. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about delivering a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and business applications
Respond to support requests via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems
Troubleshoot and resolve common desktop, laptop, printer, and application issues
Set up, configure, deploy, and support user workstations and peripherals
Assist with user account administration including password resets and access requests
Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when appropriate
Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees
Maintain accurate asset and inventory records
Deliver excellent customer service while communicating technical information to non-technical users
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred
0-3 years of technical support, help desk, desktop support, or customer service experience
Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware
Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, or network fundamentals is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment
Desire to learn new technologies and grow within an IT organization
