Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Clinical Contracts Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Foster City, CA or Parsippany, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for sourcing and contracting development organizations to support the client's global Phase I-IV clinical trials and other projects within the Vendor Outsourcing department. The position will primarily focus on clinical ancillary services and systems, requiring a strong understanding of contracting frameworks, negotiation of business terms, and management of the full vendor selection lifecycle.
Responsibilities: - Source and contract development organizations to support global clinical trials
- Review contracts, negotiate business terms, and support the negotiation of legal terms
- Manage the full vendor selection lifecycle, including RFI/RFP processes, vendor evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation
- Handle change order management and agreement closeout
- Ensure accurate cataloging of terms and conditions in the contract database
- Assist other staff in resolving moderately complex contract issues
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including Clinical Operations, Finance, Legal, and Vendor Management
Requirements: - Strong understanding of contracting frameworks and general legal terms
- Strong organizational skills to support many sourcing and contracting negotiations at one time
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with technology, systems, and software is a plus
- Experience supporting Development Functions such as Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Science, Real-World Evidence, Regulatory Affairs, Patient Safety, Quality and/or Medical Affairs is a plus
Pay range: up to $70.76 per hour
