Project Description or Key Responsibilities | UCOP is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer within Technology Delivery Services (TDS) to support development and advanced production support for UCPath, the University''s PeopleSoft HCM ERP system. The primary functional areas are Workforce Administration (WFA), Talent Acquisition Management (TAM), and ePerformance. Key Responsibilities - Develop and support UCPath, the PeopleSoft HCM ERP system, with primary focus on Workforce Administration (WFA), Talent Acquisition Management (TAM), and ePerformance.
- Design, develop, modify, debug, deploy, and evaluate complex PeopleSoft enhancements using application and industry best practices with an emphasis on defect-free delivery.
- Collaborate with developers, SMEs, campus project teams, and University business/technical counterparts to translate needs into technical solutions.
- Define technical requirements and complex software specifications; prepare required system, programming, and technical design documentation.
- Develop and maintain Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, Fluid pages, Integration Broker services, and custom reports.
- Perform complex data analysis and troubleshooting using Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL; support data integration and data-service specifications.
- Provide advanced production support, including triage, system/data fixes, recurring-issue analysis, customer-facing resolution, escalation, and on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience | - 7+ years of PeopleSoft HCM 9.x experience, including extensive work on at least two large-scale implementations with large user populations and multiple locations.
- Advanced hands-on development experience in WFA, TAM, and ePerformance, with deep knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM data model.
- Advanced PeopleSoft development and integration skills, including BI Publisher, Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Fluid pages, Integration Broker, and custom reports.
- Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web-development experience used to improve PeopleSoft Fluid UI accessibility and navigation.
- Hands-on experience with some or all of: Fluid technology, Tiles, Related Content, Event Mapping, and Page and Field Configurator.
- Experience developing conversion/system implementation plans, technical design specifications, and test plans.
- Experience with configuration strategy and object migration using STAT and/or PHIRE, including migration procedures and automated/manual methods.
- Ability to translate functional needs into system solutions and provide advanced production support for complex defects, data issues, and recurring problems.
- Strong collaboration, analytical, project leadership, software management, documentation, and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Experience | - Broad depth across all three target modules (WFA, TAM, and ePerformance), not just a single HCM module.
- Strong depth with modern PeopleTools/Fluid capabilities and complex enterprise production support.
