Overview
We are looking for a Release Manager / Project Manager to coordinate and manage software releases across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role is primarily focused on release planning, organization, communication, and ensuring releases are properly planned, validated, and executed.
The ideal candidate will have strong Jira expertise and experience supporting Salesforce releases, including understanding release impacts across Salesforce environments such as the CCN org and coordinating teams to plan and execute changes successfully.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and track release scope, including what is in and out of each release.
Own and maintain Jira tickets, release plans, dashboards, reports, and status tracking.
Query Jira and create automated reports to track release scope, progress, dependencies, and risks.
Cross-verify Jira data and release reporting with technical teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.
Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders on release readiness, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
Manage and coordinate Salesforce releases, including assessing the impact of planned changes on the CCN org.
Work with teams to identify dependencies, potential impacts, and required activities for Salesforce changes and releases.
Lead release planning, readiness, and stakeholder meetings.
Communicate release status, timelines, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Run release bridge calls and coordinate teams during release execution.
Track, manage, and escalate blockers or issues as needed to keep releases on schedule.
Required Experience
Experience in Project Management, Release Management, or a similar coordination role.
Strong Jira expertise, including creating and managing advanced queries, dashboards, reports, filters, and automated reporting.
Experience using Jira data to track work across multiple teams and validate release scope and status.
Experience coordinating software releases across multiple teams and managing dependencies.
Experience supporting or coordinating Salesforce releases and changes.
Ability to assess and coordinate the impact of Salesforce changes across connected environments and organizations, including CCN.
Strong stakeholder communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lead meetings, manage timelines, and keep releases on track.
Preferred
Experience working with Salesforce development and production release processes.
Familiarity with Salesforce deployment and release management practices.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience working with software development, QA, and production support teams.
