RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Director Insurance SW Platform Duck Creek in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the enhancement and modernization of enterprise business applications to improve scalability, performance, and usability
* Drive application reliability, availability, and operational efficiency through proactive monitoring and continuous improvements
* Partner with business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that support growth, process optimization, and customer experience initiatives
* Oversee system integrations and data flow to ensure accuracy, consistency, and effective business operations
* Support security, compliance, risk management, and business continuity efforts across critical applications
* Champion automation, process improvements, and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
* Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to technical team members while fostering a collaborative and accountable culture
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience supporting, developing, or leading enterprise software solutions
* Experience working with large-scale business applications in a regulated environment
* Knowledge of software development methodologies, system integrations, and application lifecycle management
* Familiarity with cloud technologies, automation practices, and modern development tools
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
* Industry experience within financial services, insurance, or other regulated sectors is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
