Role: Duck Creek Billing Senior Developer/Architect

Location: Preferable Boston region, remote is acceptable for right talent

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Duck Creek Billing Senior Developer to design, develop, configure, enhance, and support Duck Creek Billing solutions for commercial and personal insurance carriers. The candidate will play a key role in product development, platform upgrades, integrations, and production support while collaborating with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop solutions within the Duck Creek Billing platform.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and configurable solutions.
• Develop and maintain:

• Workflows
• Billing Plans
• Invoicing and Payment Processing
• Build and enhance integrations with:
• Policy Administration Systems
• Claims Systems
• General Ledger / Finance Systems

• Develop and troubleshoot:

• SQL Server objects (Stored Procedures, Views, Functions)
• Support platform upgrades, cumulative releases, and Express 2 to Express 3 migrations.
• Perform code reviews and enforce development best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical solutioning.
• Support SIT, UAT, production releases, and post-production support activities.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 6–10+ years of software development experience.
• 4–8+ years of hands-on Duck Creek experience.
• 3+ years of Duck Creek Billing implementation or enhancement experience.
• Strong experience with:
• Duck Creek Billing

• Web Services / APIs
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Experience with Duck Creek Express 3 (E3).
