Location: Remote with periodic onsite work in Florida; initial focus on North and South Florida operations
Overview
A Mako client, a large engineering consulting organization, is seeking a senior Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM / Financials Project Auditor to support a post-go-live project stabilization initiative.
The organization recently transitioned from a custom ERP environment to Oracle Fusion Cloud and is working through financial and project-management challenges associated with the new system. Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a senior Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM / Financials professional who understands both Oracle and the financial mechanics of project-based organizations.
This person should be comfortable reviewing a project in Oracle, recognizing when revenue, billing, margin, cost, or forecasting information does not appear correct, and determining what needs to be investigated further.
Just as importantly, the consultant must be able to work across multiple groups to get issues resolved. The hiring manager is looking for someone who is proactive, assertive, organized, and comfortable following up with Project Managers, Finance teams, project coordinators, and ERP resources until open items are closed.
The consultant is not expected to personally make every system or financial correction. Instead, this person will identify problems, help determine the likely cause, coordinate the appropriate resources, track corrective actions, and confirm that the issue has been resolved.
Candidates whose backgrounds are primarily Oracle implementation Project Management, general accounting with limited Oracle PPM expertise, or purely technical Oracle development would not be the right fit for this position.
