Position Overview
We are seeking strong Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Leads with Solution Architect expertise to join our team supporting a client in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a functional leadership role, not a technical development role. The ideal candidates will have deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials — with specialized, hands-on strength in Financials Accounting Hub (FAH) — and proven experience leading Finance workstreams, functional teams, and client-facing design activities across end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
This role will own solution design decisions, drive functional workshops, guide configuration strategy, and act as the primary functional point of contact between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of total work experience, with the majority focused on Oracle Financials (EBS and/or Fusion).
Must have served as a Functional Lead / Solution Architect on Oracle Fusion Finance implementation projects — end-to-end implementation experience is mandatory.
Expert-level functional knowledge and hands-on configuration experience in the following modules:
Financials Accounting Hub (FAH) — strong emphasis
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
General Ledger (GL)
Cash Management (CM)
Deep FAH expertise, including:
Subledger Accounting (SLA) setup — event classes, event types, journal line rules, application accounting definitions
Accounting rules, mapping sets, transaction objects, and sources
Designing FAH solutions to capture and account for high-volume transactions from third-party / non-Oracle source systems
Transfer to GL, balancing, and reconciliation between FAH and GL
Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud functional architecture, functional security/roles, and integration approaches (FBDI, REST/SOAP APIs, ADFdi) from a functional design perspective.
Ability to work independently, drive solution decisions, and take full ownership of the Finance functional workstream.
