General Laborers for a opportunity with a manufacturing company in Sandston, VA!
We\'re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy hands-on work and can keep up in a fast-paced production environment.
General Laborers help manufacture quality products by preparing materials, operating production equipment, assembling components, inspecting finished products, and keeping production moving safely and efficiently.
Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, machine operating, or other hands-on experience is a plus, but beginners are welcome to apply as training is provided!
Shift Details - 1st Shift- Regular Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Overtime: Some workdays may extend until 5:00 PM based on production needs. Candidates should be flexible and available to work overtime and Saturdays when required.
Attendance Bonus - Earn Up to $300 Every Two Weeks!Employees are eligible to earn additional pay through a perfect attendance bonus:
- Week 1: Earn $100 for perfect attendance.
- Week 2: Earn $100 for perfect attendance.
- Additional Bonus: Earn another $100 for maintaining perfect attendance during both consecutive weeks of the biweekly pay period.
That\'s an opportunity to earn
up to $300 in additional pay every two weeks! Attendance bonuses are based on meeting all attendance requirements and are not guaranteed.
Job Responsibilities of General Laborers- Move, organize, and prepare raw materials for production.
- Assemble products and assist with production machinery and equipment.
- Feed materials into machines and prepare finished products for painting, shipping, or the next production stage.
- Inspect materials and finished products for defects, damage, and quality standards.
- Properly handle and store materials to prevent damage and waste.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow production instructions, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Assist with other production duties as needed.
Job Qualificationsof General Laborers- Manufacturing, construction, warehouse, or other hands-on experience preferred.
- Machine operating experience and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
- Comfortable using basic tools, measurements, and math.
- Able to identify product defects and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Able to adapt to changing production needs and assignments.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus, but not required.
- Flexible to work overtime and Saturdays when required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment of General Laborers- Ability to stand and perform repetitive, hands-on tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift, move, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds, depending on the assigned position.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or balance as needed.
- Comfortable working around manufacturing machinery and moving equipment.
- Able to work in a minimally climate-controlled environment that may be hot or noisy.
- Must follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and remain aware of surroundings.
