Senior Software Development Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer. This role is 100% onsite in Northwest Phoenix, AZ.

Summary:
A growing engineering technology company is seeking a Senior Software Design Engineer to join its R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to develop scalable web applications and service-oriented solutions that support innovative hardware products while working closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams. Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, deploy, and maintain web applications, APIs, and services
* Architect and build software solutions from concept through production
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
* Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing applications
* Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning
* Develop and maintain technical documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
* 10+ years of software development experience
* Strong experience building web applications and service-oriented architectures
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, T-SQL, database tuning and design, developing queries and stored procedure creation
* Strong object-oriented design and development skills
* Proven ability to develop products from the ground up through deployment

Key Technical Skills:
* Backend: C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, MVC, REST APIs, Multithreading
* Frontend: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML
* Database: SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS, stored procedures, database design
* Development Practices: SOLID principles, software architecture, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications:
* React Native (iOS/Android)
* Azure
* Python
* Svelte
* IoT and cloud security experience
* ISO 9001:2015 environment experience
* Familiarity with AI/ML technologies

* Full-stack development expertise with a strong focus on ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, and SQL Server
* Experience building new software products from scratch
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
* Self-motivated engineer who enjoys ownership and working in a fast-paced product development environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
