We are seeking a Senior IBM Sterling OMS Developer to join the Order Management engineering organization. Designing, developing, and enhancing solutions on the IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) platform, supporting end-to-end commerce capabilities such as order capture, sourcing, fulfillment, inventory visibility, payments, returns, and customer care workflows.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and enhance solutions on IBM Sterling OMSConfigure and extend OMS core modules and workflowsBuild and support integrations using REST APIs and event-driven architectureCustomize Sterling Order Hub and Next Gen Call CenterEnsure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable codeParticipate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimizationCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Required Experience7+ years of hands-on IBM Sterling OMS development experienceStrong expertise in:Participant ModelingProcess Modeling (Sales, Returns, Exchanges, Drop Ship, Transfer Orders)Sourcing, Inventory Management, Payment ProcessingAgents, event-driven automation, background jobsCatalog, Pricing/Repricing, and tax recalculationsStrong Java development skills (modern versions, OOP, design patterns)Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integrationsSolid SQL and data troubleshooting skillsExperience working with containerized OMS environmentsStrong focus on code quality and unit testing (JUnit/Mockito or similar)
Preferred ExperiencePostgreSQL, Angular, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Docker, CI/CD concepts, XSL transformations (for OMS customizations), Exposure to React or TypeScript
Education RequiredBachelor's Degree
