Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Information Security Engineers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native security platforms and integrations that unify security operations, threat intelligence, log management, incident case management, and security data sources.
Develop and optimize security data pipelines and data lake capabilities to support large-scale log ingestion, data analysis, threat detection, and security event investigation.
Integrate and support SIEM, SOAR, and AI-driven investigation capabilities, including configurable AI agents for security event analysis, incident triage, and response orchestration.
Implement security engineering practices, assess vulnerabilities and risks, support incident investigation, and collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and operations teams to strengthen platform security and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
7+ years of closely applicable professional experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, security platform development, or related technology roles. Experience supporting SIEM, SOAR, security data pipelines, data lakes, and AI-driven security operations is relevant.

Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations, including security monitoring, threat intelligence, incident management, log analysis, and coordinated security response.
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise security applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting business operations.
Experience supporting Security Operations Center (SOC) modernization, unified security operations, threat investigation, incident case management, and automated response workflows.
Experience working in complex enterprise security environments, including cloud infrastructure, security governance, risk management, and cross-functional cybersecurity operations. Banking and capital markets experience is preferred.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience engineering cloud-native security platforms and integrating SIEM, SOAR, security data pipelines, data lakes, and threat intelligence capabilities.
Experience with security automation, Python or Bash scripting, Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools, and AI-enabled security investigation or orchestration solutions.
A technical master's degree is preferred. Experience in banking, capital markets, cybersecurity platform engineering, or large-scale enterprise security operations is beneficial.
