Job Title: Enterprise Project Manager - Data

Overview
We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead complex data projects within a dynamic insurance and financial services environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape data governance functions, modernize data platforms, and deliver impactful business outcomes across multiple regions. If you have a hands-on mentality, extensive experience working with Azure Cloud services, and a proven track record in managing large-scale data projects, this could be your next career move.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of project management experience leading large-scale initiatives
• Deep knowledge of Data Governance, Data Policies, and Controls, with experience standing up Data Governance functions
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Data Services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in SQL, with ability to interpret complex queries
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Demonstrated experience managing data platform, data engineering, or analytics projects
• Experience in regulated financial or insurance data environments
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet
• Ability to maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and forecasts

Nice to Have Skills

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar certification
• Experience working with global teams across the US, UK, and Europe
• Knowledge of data lifecycle management, data quality, and MDM concepts
• Experience documenting business requirements and managing change processes
• Familiarity with SharePoint and global governance structures

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field
• Prior experience working directly within a Chief Data Office or Data Governance function
• Relevant certifications in project management and data disciplines
