Our client is looking for an .NET Production Support Engineer for a project and below is the detailed requirement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field with an overall of 12+ years of IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in .NET Framework / .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC application development and production support.
• Solid experience working with Entity Framework for data access and ORM-based application development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, query optimization, and basic performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs / ASP.NET Web APIs.
• Experience with frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Experience using Git for source code version control and collaborative development.
• Basic exposure to Microsoft Azure, including Application Insights, monitoring dashboards, and cloud application support.
• Hands-on experience in production support activities including application monitoring, incident management, debugging, log analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Familiarity with application logging frameworks, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience working with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production support for enterprise .NET applications by monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high application availability.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents while performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing preventive solutions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using .NET / .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support application functionality and performance.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs / Web APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems.
• Monitor applications using Azure Application Insights and other logging/monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Perform application debugging, log analysis, and performance tuning to improve system stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve production issues and deliver timely solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, deployment support, release validation, and post-deployment monitoring activities.
