Help Desk Analyst

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to provide exceptional technical support and troubleshooting assistance for our team in Covington, Louisiana. This is a long-term contract position that requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.

Responsibilities:
Respond to technical support inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure end-user satisfaction.
Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory accounts, ensuring proper access and security protocols.
Provide assistance with Microsoft Windows 10 installations, updates, and configurations.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across various devices.
Track and prioritize service desk tickets to maintain efficient workflow.
Deliver clear and concise technical guidance to users experiencing difficulties.
Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and propose effective solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of support activities and resolutions.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of workstations and peripheral equipment.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.

Requirements

Proficiency in Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.
Experience with basic troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
