Description
We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Data & Analytics Program Lead to guide the development of a modern enterprise analytics environment for a financial services organization in Middletown, Pennsylvania. This contract opportunity with permanent potential will lead the rollout of Microsoft Fabric as a trusted reporting and analytics platform while delivering a high-impact initial use case that demonstrates measurable business value. The role combines program leadership, platform architecture, and cross-functional collaboration to create scalable data solutions, strengthen governance, and expand internal capability across business and technology teams.
Responsibilities:
Shape the overall strategy for Microsoft Fabric, including platform governance, delivery planning, adoption methods, and long-term operating practices.
Partner with leaders across finance, treasury, risk, compliance, operations, product, and technology to identify priority analytics initiatives and organize them into a value-driven roadmap.
Architect and oversee solutions across Fabric capabilities such as OneLake, lakehouses, warehouses, data pipelines, notebooks, semantic models, Power BI, real-time analytics, and AI-enabled experiences.
Direct the integration of data from Azure-based services, SharePoint, Salesforce, operational platforms, application telemetry, and approved identity or access-related sources.
Establish enterprise standards for workspace design, naming conventions, deployment processes, monitoring, lineage tracking, lifecycle administration, backup planning, and disaster recovery readiness.
Work closely with security, legal, IT, risk, and business data owners to enforce appropriate access controls, privacy safeguards, retention requirements, audit support, segregation of duties, and regulatory alignment.
Define data management practices covering ownership, stewardship, quality controls, reconciliation methods, master and reference data usage, and certification criteria for trusted reporting assets.
Lead delivery of the initial Fed Account Management analytics use case, including ingestion, transformation, reporting, dashboard development, analysis, forecasting, alerting, and future machine learning opportunities.
Manage platform performance, licensing, capacity, cost, and usage trends while recommending improvements that optimize efficiency and support sustainable growth.
Produce program documentation and communications such as milestone plans, risk logs, executive updates, training content, runbooks, data dictionaries, and knowledge transfer materials, while reporting on adoption, reliability, quality, and business value metrics.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Extensive experience leading enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, cloud, or platform initiatives from strategy through production adoption.
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including data engineering, lakehouse and warehouse design, pipeline development, semantic modeling, security configuration, deployments, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Solid background integrating Azure services with on-premises applications and SaaS data sources in complex enterprise environments.
Demonstrated success establishing governance frameworks for data quality, metadata, lineage, access management, privacy, retention, and audit readiness.
Ability to convert complex business and financial objectives into scalable technical solutions, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
Proven leadership in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional program execution, and coordination across internal teams and external partners.
Experience with Python, ETL processes, data science concepts, and machine learning-enabled analytics is highly valued.
