BI Analyst

Position: BI Developer (ThoughtSpot) 

Duration: Contract to end of year + likely extensions 

Location: Remote 

Max w2 Pay $55/hr on w2 

Interview Process: 2 rounds - first round is technical, 2^nd round conversational 

Start Date: Would like to have candidate identified within the next 2 weeks

Must Haves: 

• Experience developing BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations using ThoughtSpot BI tool.
• Familiarity with reporting best practices, and KPI/metric design.
• 5+ years'' experience with with SQL  including writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data validation logic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional business partners and manage stakeholder expectations.

• Experience working in a fast-paced enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience supporting operational, business, or executive reporting needs.
• Exposure to retail and supply chain related data environments
• Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery models 

Summary:

• We are seeking a highly capable Business Intelligence Developer to support data-driven decision-making through strong hands-on experience building reports/live boards, SQL expertise, analytical problem-solving, and effective partnership with business stakeholders.
• This role requires an individual who can translate business needs into meaningful insights, develop reporting and dashboard solutions, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in SQL and BI reporting/dashboard development in ThoughtSpot, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with tools such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms is highly desirable.
