We are looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of software verification and validation plans for embedded system products. This role will directly impact product quality and reliability while contributing to the development of test automation, quality metrics, and verification methodologies.

What will your day look like? As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will;
- Collaborate with engineering management and the software team to develop, document, and execute software verification and validation plans for embedded systems.
- You will develop, execute, and maintain both manual and automated software tests while identifying, documenting, communicating, and tracking software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- You will contribute to the development of internal software standards, processes, and test automation frameworks, as well as develop, configure, and maintain test-target environments.
- Additionally, you will participate in software reviews at all stages of development to assess verifiability and ensure quality is built into the product from the start.
You will be a good fit if you have;
- A four-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related STEM discipline, along with a minimum of three years of SQA experience supporting embedded systems products.
- You should have strong collaboration skills and be comfortable working closely with engineering teams on test design and coverage.
- Excellent technical writing skills are required to produce executable plans and protocols.
- You should have programming or scripting experience for test creation, tool integration, and report generation, along with expertise in testing methodologies, quality metrics, and reviewing software designs for verifiability.
- The ability to read C/C++ code is required.
- Experience with version control systems, defect tracking tools, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks is essential.
- Experience with JIRA workflow design and XRAY test management is preferred.
