Appian Technology Consultant

Direct Hire. 100% Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Support and deliver BPM solutions for clients across a range of industries. This role offers hands-on involvement in Appian application implementations, from requirements gathering through deployment, while working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to designing and building both out-of-the-box and custom BPM solutions that solve complex business challenges. Take ownership of work, collaborate cross-functionally, and grow technical and consulting skill sets.
- Shape career path based on interests, existing skills, and long-term goals, with exposure to leadership and meaningful project responsibilities.

Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university (Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred)
- At least 1 year of hands-on Appian implementation experience with a solid understanding of the Appian platform and implementation methodology
- Technical proficiency in Appian, Core Java / J2EE, JSP, Servlets, XML, Web Services, and Relational Databases (RDBMS)
- Strong ability to analyze, design, and implement complex BPM solutions, including Business rules, Design specifications and wireframes, Data structures, and Process flows and integrations
- Experience creating high-quality client-facing deliverables such as presentations, models, and analyses
- Experience leading or supporting requirements-gathering workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments with familiarity across standard artifacts and ceremonies
- Understanding of data management concepts, including integration, quality, governance, and architecture
- Ability to work directly with product owners, clients, and senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into functional and technical requirements
- Comfortable collaborating within teams and navigating organizational dynamics
- Experience working in small- to mid-sized teams to deliver project milestones
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, expectations, and competing priorities
- Willingness to support proposal development and business development efforts when needed
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced or ambiguous environments
- Consulting experience (including Big 4 ) and/or product management experience is a plus
