The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining system availability, cybersecurity, performance, and reliability while providing technical support to operational users and coordinating with Government personnel and site representatives.
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot NTCSS environments, NALCOMIS OOMA/OIMA, associated virtual machines, and supporting infrastructure.
Perform system and network administration, including user account management, backups, system configuration, and routine maintenance.
Monitor system availability, performance, and connectivity; investigate and resolve system incidents, interface issues, and network problems.
Implement required cybersecurity controls and security updates, including IAVA/vulnerability remediation, antivirus updates, security scanning, and system hardening.
Support NALCOMIS system interfaces, reports, databases, and operational requirements.
Coordinate technical issue resolution with Government personnel, site representatives, vendors, and other support teams as required.
Respond to system outages, critical incidents, and after-hours support requirements in accordance with applicable Performance Work Statement (PWS) response requirements.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, system records, procedures, and required deliverables.
Participate in technical meetings, reviews, and operational coordination activities.
Provide technical assistance, user support, and training to system users and operational personnel.
Follow applicable OPSEC, information assurance, cybersecurity, site security, and organizational policies and procedures.
Perform other related technical and administrative duties as required to support mission operations.
10+ years of general IT/Information Systems/computer experience.
6+ years of specialized experience in systems and network administration, LAN/telecommunications, and standard desktop configuration and support.
10+ years of aviation maintenance administration experience, including organizational-level (O-Level) and intermediate-level (I-Level) experience with NALCOMIS/OOMA/OIMA.
Demonstrated experience serving in both NALCOMIS Database Administrator (DBA) and Systems Administrator (SA) capacities.
Experience administering and supporting Windows-based environments, including experience with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 11, as applicable to the PWS.
Experience with Microsoft Office Professional.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot systems, networks, interfaces, databases, and connectivity issues.
Ability to provide senior-level technical support comparable to the responsibilities and experience expected of a military E-6 or above.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requirements, and respond effectively to mission-critical incidents.
No minimum degree or formal educational qualification is specified by the PWS. Relevant education, technical training, certifications, and demonstrated hands-on experience are valued.
