Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly
Description: We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development using Java and Spring. In this role, you will build and enhance a new integration service that connects cloud-based enterprise systems with a third-party SaaS supply chain platform. Candidates with strong data analysis and data engineering skills are highly preferred, as the data supports warehouse, transportation, yard, and labor management functions.
Beyond integration service development, you will also have opportunities to contribute to the rollout of a warehouse claims processing application across multiple business units. While backend development will be the primary focus, there may be occasional contributions to Angular-based internal tools and applications.
Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of backend development experience using Java and the Spring Framework
(Strong junior candidates will also be considered if they demonstrate high aptitude and learning agility.) - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and modern integration patterns
- Working knowledge of Angular (v10+ preferred)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management systems
- Exposure to claims processing workflows in warehouse or operations environments
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale internal systems or integrations
Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring for a cloud-based integration layer
- Build and enhance integrations with enterprise supply chain systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, LMS)
- Support and optimize existing software with a focus on performance and domain-specific needs
- Contribute to Angular frontend components for internal tools, as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including platform engineers, operations technology teams, and QA
- Participate in architectural design discussions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies
- Ensure service reliability, scalability, and code quality across the platform
