The Opportunity:
Looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager to drive Loyalty domain across our stores and digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have a background thinking & building the next generation digital technologies for web and mobile. As part of the Product Management team, you will collaborate with business partners, engineers, product managers, design experts, and most importantly, our cast and clients, to define a product roadmap and launch a plan. You’ll drive all aspects of a product, from discovery to launch, and are comfortable taking on many different tasks to get your product live. You constantly look for ways to improve our experiences, analyze KPIs, share your ideas, and take action to make it happen.
Responsibilities:
• Define a product vision, lead the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day management of feature work to evolve experiences related to Loyalty (Loyalty Includes: the Beauty Insider Program, Challenges/Games, Loyalty Partnerships and the Credit Card)
• Define customer experience and business goals for new features and improvements that drive customer acquisition and engagement.
• Interface with the Marketing department to evaluate, prioritize and build new features and tools to optimize the life cycle of our customers. Partner with the Ecommerce and Retail Operations/Production teams to make experiences come to life online and in stores.
• Gather input from both internal business partners and external sources, and craft a prioritized roadmap that is feasible and can be measured.
• Own your products from concept to launch: analyze customer data, competitors, market trends, evaluate technologies, develop detailed requirements and feature definitions, design and drive the implementation plan, and manage the ultimate launch and communications.
• Be an advocate for your products; articulate the customer and business value to all levels of the organization. Develop compelling presentations and prototypes to communicate your product story.
• Champion the needs of business teams and stakeholders throughout the development process; ensure what is delivered meets the original goals and KPIs.
• Lead cross-functional teams from diverse disciplines including engineers, designers, and business owners to drive the launch of the product. Make thoughtful decisions on the fly, constantly clearing roadblocks to get your product live.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 5+ years in Product Management for an e-commerce, transaction-based, retail, or similar, including multiple product launches and roadmap ownership. Proven role in launching successful customer-facing digital products on web, tablet and mobile.
• Past Product experience that focused on Loyalty programs is ideal.
• Curiosity and a desire to get answers through research, analysis, and real-world testing
• Expert in agile development process, managing Sprints and utilizing Jira to track features, enhancements, bugs, user stories in JIRA, and acceptance criteria.
• Use of AI solutions for Product Process automation and/or within your product solutions.
• Strong technical understanding of core Internet technologies, PaaS, API’s, and Web Services.
• Proven track record developing, testing, and launching both customer-facing features and enabling technologies.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to balance multiple competing priorities.
• Strong listening and communication skills – both verbal and written. Effective presentation skills with executives and large audiences.
• Technical background or working knowledge of software development process and tools.
• Demonstrated success partnering with business, technical and design teams. Can talk to processes that enabled collaborative product design.
• Strong analytical skills and a drive to experiment; have supporting examples of using metrics in all aspects of the product lifecycle.
• Experience thriving in a fast-paced and growing startup environment. Results-driven with the ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and multi-task.
• An assertive, direct communication style, with the ability to inspire and motivate others across the company. Collaborative, energetic and hands-on team player.
• BA/BS, MBA a plus. Retail and Loyalty experience preferred.
