We are currently seeking a dynamic and resourceful Interim Senior Accountant to join our client in the Industrial Rental industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in managing and improving our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our accounting information by maintaining and controlling the General Ledger accounts and business transactions. This position will demand strong accounting knowledge and experience in Balance Sheet, P&L, Account Reconciliation, and Invoicing.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Participate in the monthly close process, including the preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Analyze and review financial statements and reports, ensuring all information is accurate and in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including variance reports.
• Participate in budgeting processes and update financial models.
• Provide support and guidance to junior and mid-level accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Invoicing, General Ledger, Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet, and P&L.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Automated Financial and Accounting Reporting Systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
• NetSuite Required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
• Experience with accounting software and databases.
