Cloud Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Tampa, FL.

Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, secure, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, highly available Azure environments while driving automation, governance, security, and operational excellence across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure:
* Design, deploy, and manage Azure compute, storage, and networking solutions
* Implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure aligned with business and technical requirements
* Support hybrid cloud environments and connectivity between on-premises and Azure resources

Azure Networking:
* Configure and maintain Azure networking services including: Virtual WAN; Private Endpoints; Hybrid Connectivity Solutions; Virtual Networks (VNets), Subnets, NSGs, and Routing; Azure Governance & Security
* Establish and enforce Azure governance best practices
* Implement and maintain: Azure Policy; Role-Based Access Control (RBAC); Microsoft Defender for Cloud; Azure Advisor and Secure Score recommendations
* Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and cloud governance frameworks

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services
* Experience implementing and managing enterprise cloud networking solutions
* Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
* Experience supporting hybrid identity and access management solutions
* Expertise in Azure security, governance, and compliance controls
* Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
* Strong scripting skills with PowerShell and Azure CLI
* Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Azure certifications such as: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104); Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305); Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
* Knowledge of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
* Understanding of Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF) principles

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
