Job Title: Technical Product Owner

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: / Term: 6+ months

Job Description:

The Technical Product Owner will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for a mission-critical middleware platform. This role requires deep technical expertise in distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, middleware architecture, caching strategies, and high-availability systems. The TPO will operate at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance, and security.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Translate complex technical capabilities into business outcomes. Own and prioritize product backlog.
Write detailed technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
Active participation in quarterly planning and PI objectives, excellent stakeholder management skills.
Align engineering capacity to strategic initiatives. Track KPIs and platform health metrics and publish to leadership.

Required Technical Skills:

A strong understanding of the below:
Event-driven architecture
Asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, AMQP etc)
Distributed caching systems
Microservices architecture
REST & event-based APIs
High-throughput distributed systems
