Description:

Position: Solution/Application Architect

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ month Contract

***W2 Contract****No C2C***

What We're Looking For

10+ years of IT experience, with 5-8+ years in architecture roles
Expertise in one or more application languages (Java, Golang, Python) with hands-on experience in service-oriented or microservices architecture (Kubernetes)
Strong understanding of distributed application design, system integrations, and SecDevOps practices in cloud environments (primarily AWS)
Familiarity with site reliability engineering principles and eagerness to expand knowledge
Experience representing distributed systems using UML or C4 models

Must-Have Skills

Proven accountability and ownership of projects, delivering quality results on time using Agile/JIRA practices
Trusted advisor to application teams, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Ability to guide technical leads in creating component/process flow diagrams and support teams in performance, scalability, and reliability planning

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards (OpenID, SAML, OAuth, JWT, X.509, MTLS, etc.)
Familiarity with IT architectural frameworks (TOGAF), service mesh, and TechRadar practices
Experience maintaining application roadmaps and aligning with strategic plans
Exposure to mobile technologies, OCPP protocol, and machine learning modeling
