Sr. Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Kafka, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Cosmos DB. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend applications and microservices deployed in an Azure cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Implement event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Develop applications integrating with Azure Cosmos DB.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot application, Kubernetes, Kafka, and database-related issues.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Follow secure coding, code review, CI/CD, and software development best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
