Job Title: Senior Natural / ADABAS Developer

Job Summary:

• IRG Clients is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer to join development and support team. This role focuses on supporting, enhancing, and maintaining a statewide Child Support System. The ideal candidate will play a key role in modernizing legacy systems by integrating with newer technologies, improving system performance, and automating existing processes.
• This position requires strong expertise in Natural/ADABAS development, along with the ability to contribute to system architecture, business process improvements, and compliance with state and federal mandates.

Key Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance the statewide Child Support System.
• Design, develop, and implement complex applications using Natural and ADABAS.
• Execute and manage Natural batch processes using JCL and/or SCL, along with online processing.
• Analyze system requirements and develop scalable solutions on large-scale Linux environments.
• Integrate legacy systems with modern platforms using APIs and web services.
• Provide subject matter expertise in system architecture and application design.
• Recommend system and process improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state child support mandates.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical and functional documentation.
• Train end users and stakeholders on system functionalities and updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations and enhancements.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of programming experience in Natural and ADABAS.
• Strong experience running Natural processes in batch (JCL/SCL) and online environments.
• 2+ years of experience in analysis, design, and development of complex applications on Linux systems.
• 4+ years of experience working with automated child support systems.
• 3+ years of experience providing system architecture expertise.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Web Services and API integrations.
• Familiarity with NaturalONE (SAG Designer).
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
